How our waiting list works

Our waiting list covers all 4 sections in our group (This includes WOSESU)

We have 3 set intakes a year (September, January and Easter)

The youngest we can take young people is as follows: Beavers 6, Cubs 8, Scouts 10, Explorers 14

For example:

Tom is 10 at Easter and his Mum has just placed him on the waiting list for Scouts.

There are currently around 11 children the same age as Tom who are already on the waiting list however his place will change as younger people who have been on the waiting list turn 10 or he may go up as older ones become ineligible.

(e.g. he may be 12th at Easter. If we take 3 new Scouts in, he would be 9th on the list however by September 5 more children turn 10 who have been on the waiting list longer than Tom, then he would be 14th on the list in September)

By completing the following form you are giving us consent to store the details you provide us. As this is an application for our waiting list we will store these details until you request we remove your child from the waiting list.

Once you have completed the form you will receive a confirmation email. (usually within 24hrs but definitely within 2 weeks) if you have not received this with that time please assume that the email addresses you provided have not worked and please email info@rn98.co.uk

We will only contact you via email so if we are unable to get a response from you we will remove the applicant from the waiting list.

We will however contact every address you provide on at least 2 occasions at least 1 week apart before we do this.
